DESCRIPTION:
The Copaifera langsdorffii belongs to the Fabaceae family and grows up to 18 meters high with thick leaves. Natives in the Amazon used Copaiba resin in various ways, especially for skin conditions. It was also used as an ointment to treat various diseases by the natives of northern and northeastern Brazil.
